EMP an illustrated guide...

Over at the Doug Ross Journal, they do a good job of
putting an EMP attack into perspective.

From the site:

On July 9, 1962, a high-altitude nuclear test named Starfish Prime was conducted by the United States military above Johnston Island in the Pacific Ocean. Its unexpected electromagnetic pulse (EMP) effects caused disruptions in electrical systems and equipment in Honolulu 700 miles away.

"DOUG ROSS"

A good read about what could happen is the book "One Second After"
by Bill Forstchen. I posted about a movie coming out that is in the same
genre of story line "here".

This is some scary stuff and is IMHO quit possible.
